What is Student Credit Card Scheme?
The Student Credit Card Scheme is an initiative taken by the Bihar Government for financially weaker students to pursue their education after 12th. Students who wish to pursue technical or management courses such as BCA, BBA, BJMC, BLIS, etc., and are unable to pay college fees can avail the benefits of this scheme.
Benefits to the Citizens
Under the Bihar Student Credit Card (BSCC) Scheme, no interest will be payable by the borrower. The scheme benefits students from economically weaker backgrounds who are eager to complete their higher education.
Eligibility
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Bihar.
- The educational institution must be recognized by a state or central government regulatory body.
- Loans are available for general, technical, and professional higher education programs.
- Applicant must be 12th pass.
How to Apply for Student Credit Card Scheme?
- Visit website: www.7nishchay-yuvaupmission.bihar.gov.in
- Click on New Applicant Registration
- Fill required details: Name, Email ID, Aadhaar Number, Phone Number and click Yes
- Enter OTP received on phone/email and click Submit
- After successful registration, login using credentials sent to your email
- Fill all required personal details and submit
- Select scheme from dropdown → Student Credit Card Scheme
- Enter personal details of Applicant and Co-applicant
- You will receive a Unique ID on your registered email and phone number
- Download the PDF of the application form
- You will receive a message/email with date and time to visit the center
- Visit the center with the application PDF and complete the remaining procedures
